Complaints and objections procedure

A candidate who participates in a safety certification test at TestNed can object to the results of a certification test if he/she does not agree with the psychologist’s findings. In this case, the person concerned will be asked initially to discuss his/her objections with the psychologist under whose responsibility the examination took place. If this does not resolve the complaint, the person concerned must submit a written objection to the result no later than 3 months after the certification test. The objection will be dealt with by one of TestNed’s quality coordinators.

If a participant feels that he/she has not been treated correctly, he/she can submit a complaint against the psychologist under whose responsibility the examination took place. If this does not lead to a satisfactory solution, the participant can submit the complaint to TestNed’s executive board (no later than three months after the safety certification test).

The executive board will interview all those involved and make a ruling. If this second step also does not lead to a satisfactory decision for the complaining party, the latter can submit a complaint to the Supervisory Authority (College van Toezicht) of the Dutch Association of Psychologists (NIP).
